Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. 2017

The Rosso 2017 is a young wine combining superb structure with particularly lively freshness. Its 14 ° ABV make it remarkable, aging for a year longer than the minimum time required by its production regulations and with delayed release for sale.

Ruby red hues open the door to dominant red and black berry fruit notes, woven with fresh balsamic hints of thyme and mint. Fresh and mouthfilling, the creamy palate is full-bodied.

Aged in French oak tonneaux (50% in new wood; 50% in second-fill) for twelve months, then in the bottle for a further twelve months.

Due to huge demand, there are no longer bottles available for the 2014–2015–2016 vintages, and only 100 bottles of the 2017 remain.
100% Sangiovese Grosso.

Ageing process: in French oak barrels (50% the first process and 50% the second process) for 12 months; then in the bottle for an additional 12 months. Our Beatesca Rosso di Montalcino refines a year longer than the minimum time required by the respective product requirements.

Sensory analysis: the wine is ruby red in color. The olfactory notes are of black and red berries, with hints of vanilla and fresh balsamic notes. The aroma is consistent with the olfactory expression, and is at the same time, full, tonic and creamy. It has a good persistence linked both to the mineral component and the sweet tannic.
